PSIPC 2025 Competitors Announcement

Palm Springs, CA—Palm Springs International Piano Competition (PSIPC) is pleased to announce that 25 young pianists have been selected to advance to the in-person Solo Round I of the 2025 PSIPC (Junior Division). The 25 Competitors that will advance to the Solo Round 1 of the 2025 PSIPC (Junior Division) were selected from nearly 80 applicants from 10 countries. One Alternate was also selected. The 25 Competitors and one Alternate range in ages 12-17* and represent eight countries—Canada, China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Ukraine and the United States.

Today Palm Springs International Piano Competition (PSIPC), formerly The Waring, announced its full slate of esteemed judges for the triennial Competition, dates and times for all in-person rounds, as well as an additional prize and a unique public masterclass opportunity for the Junior Competitors.

PSIPC’s 2024-25 Season is one of exciting musical travel as audience members are invited to embark on an inspirational voyage to discover the next generation of superstars. The season sets sail on January 27, 2025 at The Club at Morningside, with PSIPC’s Annual Benefit, Virtuoso Voyage. This event promises to be an evening of glitz, glamour, and exciting music-making with pianist Nathaniel Zhang, winner of the Junior Division of the 2019 PSIPC.
