Artistic Director Robert Koenig announced the dates of the 2025 International Piano Competition. Mark your calendars for April 11-21, 2025 for the Junior Competition. Open to aspiring pianists ages 13-17, the preliminary rounds will be held at Temple Isaiah in Palm Springs. The Concerto Finals will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at the McCallum Theatre. Contestants will compete for a $10,000 Gold Medal. Cash prizes will also be awarded to Silver and Bronze Medal winners. The Gold Medalist will also win exceptional performance opportunities, both within the US and possible international appearances. This year’s competition will allow contestants to submit their entry digitally through PSIPC’s Accept’d portal. “This entry system makes it easier for contestants to apply and really showcase their work using a digital format. It also allows our judges to access the portal and view contestants’ submission from anywhere in the World. With an Internationally acclaimed panel of judges, this was an important consideration,” said Koenig. Details about the 2025 Competition will be available soon.
