From April 11-21, 2025, Palm Springs International Piano Competition will host the “Olympics of the Piano”.
Twenty-five young pianists, aged 1317, from across the glob, come to Palm Springs and Palm Desert to compete for more than $30,000 in prizes. Audience members will be dazzled and amazed by the extraordinary talents chosen through an online submission process.
A panel of preliminary judges – Esther Park (Columbus State University), Scott Cuellar (Syracuse University) and Terrence Wilson (Bard College and Conservatory of Music) are revered pedagogues and active concert pianists.
The first three elimination rounds will be held at Temple Isaiah from April 11-19 and are open and free to the public.
The Concerto Final round, featuring the remaining four competitors as soloists with the PSIPC Festival Orchestra, takes place at the prestigious McCallum Theatre on April 21, 2025 and is a ticketed event.
